Demo

Dead Sky Recordings release, 2019. The demo from MOMENT OF TRUTH, a new US hardcore band formed in 2019, is finally available on CD. The band comes from South Florida, a scene that has produced acts such as Drawing Last Breath and xElegyx in the past, and Envision, Ecostrike and Seed of Pain today. The lineup features the instrumental members of xElegyx from that period, with the bassist of Seed of Pain taking vocals. Their vocalist also runs Arduous Path Recordings, which released the original demo tape. That tape sold out immediately, so plenty of people were unable to get a copy. MOMENT OF TRUTH’s vocalist later approached us with the idea of doing a split with KRUELTY. We gladly agreed, and decided to issue the demo on CD beforehand to help introduce the band to more listeners. As the band themselves openly state, the sound is heavily influenced by classic Japanese hardcore. If you love DYINGRACE or STRAIGHT SAVAGE STYLE, the song structures, riffs, drum patterns — and of course the pinch harmonics — should hit exactly where they need to. 3 tracks. Also available on Apple Music and Spotify.
