Rituals for the Chasmborn

A compilation CD from promising new Chicago death metal band Mindloss. The mosh-heavy riffs clearly show an awareness of hardcore, while the overall drive is firmly rooted in death metal. It is neither slow death metal nor ultra-fast death metal — it is, simply, old-school death metal, with a touch of contemporary hardcore flavor. Release was originally planned for late February. 9 tracks drawn from the band’s previous material. Jewel case.
