SUNAMI appeared suddenly in 2019 from San Jose, California.
Now they return with their self-titled EP. As on the previous release, the band plays beatdown hardcore built around breakdowns reminiscent of Animosity. Phrases recalling classic LBU bands appear throughout, and the arrangements stay varied enough to remain engaging from start to finish.
In the US, Oakland’s Creator Destructor Records handles the release. The first pressing of 1,000 copies of the 7-inch sold out through preorders in a single day, leaving only a small number of tapes at the time.
Expect big things from this band.
Limited pressing of 200 copies. Standard jewel case.
