2019年結成、名古屋出身ハードコア/デスメタルバンド、DECASIONの1stフルレングスがついにリリース。同じく当レーベルよりリリースの前作デモEPから早1年半、よりデスメタル(特にNihilistなどの初期スウェディッシュデスメタル)に寄せた音像は所謂ビートダウン/メタリックハードコアの域をとうに抜けており、USはカリフォルニアの至宝XIBALBAなどのようにありとあらゆるジャンルのヘヴィーミュージックを愛する者たちから支持を受けるであろう音像に仕上がっている。ハードコア由来のプロダクションながらメタル由来の手数で攻めるドラム、鋭いモッシュパートも健在ながらイーヴルなトレモロやドゥーミーなリフも垣間見えるギター、基本下支えながら存分すぎるほどに存在感を放つベース、そしてハードコアとデスメタルを行き来する絶妙なラインで咆哮するボーカル、これらすべてが合わさってDECASIONは確実に大きな進化を遂げた。 10曲入りジュエルケース仕様。24x24cmポスター付き。 Decasion - Instilling the Decayed Obsession 1. Formed in 2019, Nagoya hardcore/death metal band DECASION finally release their first full-length. A year and a half after the demo EP also released through this label, the band has pushed much further into death metal — especially the early Swedish sound of bands such as Nihilist. The result has long since broken free of the usual beatdown / metallic hardcore framework, instead arriving at a sound that should appeal to listeners who love every form of heavy music, much like California’s XIBALBA. The drums attack with metal-derived detail while retaining a hardcore-rooted production; the guitars preserve their sharp mosh parts while introducing evil tremolo passages and doomy riffs; the bass supports the whole structure while still making its presence unmistakable; and the vocals roar from the precise point between hardcore and death metal.
