A Call Beyond

Originally sold as a preorder, scheduled to ship around the release date. The Japanese edition of the latest EP from South Florida’s Moment of Truth — a brutal hardcore band devoted to the spirit of Japanese hardcore — is released by Dead Sky. The band shows greater depth than on the previous record, while the unmistakable flavor of Dyingrace and Straight Savage Style still appears throughout. The songs are driven by aggressive, hook-filled riffs, with bursts of almost deranged lead guitar providing an effective accent. Each member also plays in bands such as Seed of Pain, Ecostrike and Envision, making Moment of Truth something close to a South Florida all-star project. Since it is a second or third band for many of the members, live activity can be difficult to schedule, but their future moves remain well worth watching. A limited-design T-shirt was also offered for a limited preorder period. Originally released March 8. Digipak. Original price: ¥1,650 including tax.
