In Tenebras Cadere

The first EP from Tokyo’s vicious sludge-hardcore band Belmadigula is released on cassette through DSR. The content is identical to the digital version available on Bandcamp. The vocal style carries the atmosphere of Corrupted and Zenocide, while the riffing brings together influences ranging from Seven Sisters of Sleep and Electric Wizard to Japan’s own extreme hardcore. Dragging sludge and perfectly timed bursts of speed fit together with remarkable balance. The band had already begun playing live at the time of release, with several shows scheduled for the remainder of the year. 2 tracks.
